u3a activities split into two types: the Monthly Meeting (including the AGM) where all are welcome, and group activities which are open to members of that specific group.

The Monthly Meeting of the Cambourne & District u3a will normally be held 10:30am - 12:00 on the third Friday of every month - except that there will be no meeting in August. The venue is The Hub Community Centre (Main Hall), High Street, Cambourne CB23 6GW. Note that there is some parking behind the venue. The format of the meeting will usually be 1/2 hour for tea/coffee & biscuits, a chat, and an opportunity to talk to group leaders and members of the committee; this is followed by any formal announcements, and then a talk from an invited speaker. Please remember to bring your membership card with you! If you are not a member, you will be able to sign up at the meeting.

The AGM is normally held in July, again at The Hub. Members only - but all members are welcome! Copies of the agenda, together with forms to put forward other agenda items can be found in the Links section of this page; for AGMs where committee members are up for election, nomination forms are also available.

The venue for group meetings will vary - some will be held in one of the rooms at The Hub, others at the library or at, say, the group organiser's home. For insurance reasons, most group meetings are only open to members of our u3a. (If you are interested in the whys and wherefores, you can download the Insurance FAQ document; section 3.9 is the relevant info.) Please note that where groups are meeting on a regular schedule, and at a regular venue, then we will not normally list the event here; it is only the inaugural group meetings that are shown, plus group meetings that are on an irregular schedule or are not being held at their regular venue.
